About Us

Miners' Cafe is known for its famous homemade pies! People travel near and far to enjoy a slice in the cafe or on the patio facing Mt. Coliseum. Located in the historic coal mining town of Nordegg and the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, we serve specialty coffees, sandwiches, wraps, salads and other baked goods.
Come out for a hike or camping weekend and stop in along the way!

Jerry and Tanya have owned the cafe since April 2024 and are very proud to be a small part of the cafe's legacy and goodness!

Homemade Pie, Food & Espresso
Our deep dish pies are handmade in house and are packed with 9 cups of fruit for a taste explosion! Our unique flavors offer an adventure for your taste buds to compliment your outdoor adventures in the David Thompson Corridor. Try out one of our freshly made sandwiches on house baked bread or a hearty soup made to warm your belly and fuel your time in Nordegg. Our coffee and espresso served is organic, fair trade, direct trade and locally and freshly roasted in central Alberta by Good Neighbour Coffee Company. We look forward to serving you!

Pie Orders
Whole frozen or baked pies
At Miners' Cafe, we are passionate about serving delicious homemade pies in house, and also providing whole frozen or baked pies for you to take home, give to a friend or have at a special occasion.

You can order in person at the cafe or online.​​
Pick up is after 11am.
​We do our best to accommodate all orders. Please allow 24 -48 hours for small orders. If ordered far enough in advance (2 - 4 weeks) we can also accommodate large orders.
